The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS RRB Clerk Preliminary Examination result for CRP RRBs XIV. The result includes the recruitment of Group “B” Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) all over the India.

Candidates who had appeared for the Preliminary Examination which was held online can now check their result on the official IBPS website.

According to IBPS, the result of the online Preliminary Examination is declared on January 23, 2026. The result will be available on the official website only upto January 29, 2026, so the candidates can check and download their qualifying result only within the specified period.

Result and Recruitment Details:

The recruitment for the available vacancy is held through the Common Recruitment Process for RRBs XIV Posts.

The selection process includes the selection for the posts of Office Assistant/Clerk in addition to Officer Scale I/II/III posts. Regarding the current update on this, the IBPS has announced the Preliminary Examination result only for the clerk posts.

The total number of notified IBPS RRB Recruitment 2025 has been 13,294, out of which 8,022 are allocated under the office clerk or office assistant position.

Eligibility criteria has been stated as a candidate should be a graduate degree holder along with proficiency in the local language, the age limit is specified as 18-28 years in the recruitment notification.

About Examination schedule:

As per the schedule released on the official website Clerk Preliminary Examination was conducted on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 2025. Candidates qualifying in the Preliminary Examination will be eligible to appear in the Clerk Mains Examination to be conducted on February 1, 2026.

IBPS has already stated that Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in Preliminary Examination will not be considered for the final merit list, which is prepared based on the performance of candidates in the Mains Examination.

Selection process and Mains examination:

The selection process of IBPS RRB for Clerk includes Preliminary and Mains examination. The interview round is not included in this recruitment process for the Post of Office Assistant. Candidates who qualify in Mains Examination will undergo a verification process according to the IBPS Rules and Regulations.
